I am proud to report that I have finished my November Designers Challenge!

I’m calling it Transitions for now. Here’s a link to my Ravelry Project Page, and a link to the thread in the Testing Pool Group where I’m having it tested (just in case anyone’s interested).

Only a short post for this early in the morning. Happy Thanksgiving!

School Blues, Reds and Greens

I know, I know, I havn’t posted in days. I’ve thoroughly given up on daily posting! I shall simple post when I have something interesting πŸ™‚ Although I’m sure you’ve noticed by now the new page up top? ^^ “WIP Workroom” is where I’ll keep a record of all of my WIP’s (“Works in Progress” for you non-ravelry users) just in case your curious πŸ™‚

I’ve started school and feel thoroughly confused and lost in it, but that is to be expected…during the first week πŸ™‚
I’m sure by now some of you are wondering about the title…well at least the colorful parts πŸ™‚ Well then lets shake things up a bit shall we? Lets start at the very end (a very good place to start).

Green – I’ve been stuck at the heel flap of my Ribbed Ribbons socks I told you about in my last post because of some crazy counting reasons (“Down With The Calculator” is NOT a good campaign, I’ve proven it) and they are very very Green.

Now lets skip to the beginning.

Blues – See “Greens”, they make me blue πŸ™‚

Reds – O.0 ….. You expected me to have a purpose for everything? …Oh…Woops… πŸ™‚

Now some unrelated colors that I DO have a purpose for!

Beige – I’m not sure if any of you were even aware that I finished my September designers challenge AND Wrote up the pattern AND got it tested AND am currently making the page for it on Ravelry as I wait for just a sniffle more info from a tester (Sniffle = Triffle =Smidgen =itsy bit) …aren’t you proud of me?

Pretty, Huh?

Just in case youd like to know, the challenge was to create a:

Theme:Patterns in Nature
Technique:Rows of sc

You should really see the gorgeous yarn this month here!

I’m just finishing up testing and you can expect me to edit this post to add a link sometime tomorrow!

Now I’m fairly sure thats all there is for now, Ttfn!

Hammer in the Head

For Christmas, like every crafter, I have dreams of finishing all of my knitting and crocheting in time to give to people…I didn’t.

I finished a few little things to give out but nothing huge. I made my older brothers girlfriend a hammer head shark as a “waiting gift”. What on earth is a Waiting Gift?!?!?!?!

A waiting gift is a gift you get when you’re waiting for a bigger gift that I’m just too lazy to finish, silly! I started her Shark SlippersΒ  on Thanksgiving and Finished one! But then I had what is commonly referred to as Second Sock Syndrome…look it up if you think I’m kidding! And have yet to finish the other!

Anyway, Back to her waiting gift! I felt really bad about that so I made her one of these

to compensate for her footless shark…or sharkless foot depending on how you look at it πŸ™‚ The pattern is available here on Ravelry πŸ™‚

P.S. If you’re wondering where I got the slipper pattern, it was Tinyowlknits Hopsalots with a few alterations made πŸ™‚
